Hi,

We print with a lot of different stocks on our C8000 and every time we use a new paper we have to have a service visit
to get the image to print squarely as opposed to a parallelogram. While Konica responds promptly and squares the image, it slows us
down and we would rather do it ourselves if possible. Most of the time the two long sides of the image (18" side) are fine and without skew, but
the 2 other sides while parallel to each other do not meet the long sides at the proper 90 angle. Can anyone advise us as to how
this can be adjusted?

Are you setting up paper profiles?

Just a heads up, this could be a defect and may lead to a machine replacement...

What are the techs doing that fixes the skew each time?

What are the specs on the papers that you go from job to job where it's fine and then the skew starts?

Yes we use paper profiles and we use both sides adjustment. I am trying to align both sides on 100# Digital gloss text 12x18" sheet and the line running
the 12" direction doesnot meet the line running the 18" direction at a 90 angle. I don't see how the use of the both sides adjustment could correct this because
it doesn't include an adjustment for squareness. It looks like there is alignment issue in the writing engine, because the error exists regardless of which tray or stock
or weight.
