[Error Code] C353 Error C-5354

Hi folks

Have above error code on C353. Changed FM4 PRCB MFP. 24V is not being supplied to relevant pin on PRCB. Have changed Power Supply unit still the code persists. Also, (could be coincidence) the error occurred after M IU was replaced.

Anyone had this before?

Yeh, first thing I did was replace FM4. Then we did MFP and PRCB. Still no good. Checked pin on CN3 PRCB and no 24V. Checked pin on PSU and also no 24V. So, we booked PSU. Fitted that today and same problem. Re-checked pins and again no 24V. The error occured straight after a M IU fitted. In heinsight (spelling?) I would have stuck old M IU in after replacing the PSU. We have a sneaky feeling the new M IU is taking the PSU out, but have never heard of this happening before. Thanks Spid

with a konica minolta machine, any thing is possible.
give it a try with the old unit, or an other used one.
put a meter on the pins and watch the fluctuation when you install a different image unit.
it is possible that you have a pinched wire some where along the line.

Sorry for the delay.

Problem was a faulty tcr sensor onthe M IU. It was popping ICP 4 on prcb.

The lesson is - Fit new IU before any boards!
