Hi

Why are these fax boards so bad if connected to anything other than an analogue line but yet a Ricoh fax board will work on pretty much any line?

The common problem I see is protocal errors when receiving. KM say this is because they are ISO 15408 compliance and will shut down when they sense anything other than a analogue line.

Has anyone else had experience with these boads,and the poor reliability, or has any info on how to configure when using a line with ADSL/ISDN.

I have seen this problem as well with kyo faxing. you can try to slow down the speed or turn error correction managment off to see if it will help (most of the time it dosent) the only other way ive seen this problem fixed is on the customer side using a digital to anolauge converter. but those can get pricey
