Hi, can i just get a CF Card with a higher version from a good machine and simply replace it? Will it affect other system or part of the machine? Thank you

nothing other than firmware is stored on the 32mb cf card.

rewriting it to a newer version is very easy anyway, dont know why youd want to take one from another machine.
