8050 off the glass looks perfect but when printing a gradient it does so choppy. Circles squares. This will happen in CS2, Word, Quark, Illustrator etc… Banding, Striations.
It happens in lead to trail or, operator to non operator (rotate image).
All colors or a mixture should I say, tried green, blue, red.
Single Magenta, Cyan, Yellow, and black does not do it.
Using a densitometer to calibrate the Fiery has improved it slightly.
I will try these files next week some time on another 8050 to see if this is common.
8050 firmware 51 cng1 3 years old one of our first ones sold.
