Bad Black image quality - C550 Minolta

Can some one please shed some light on this problem.

When we print halftone test patern the black and only black has a very low density as per example attached.

What causes this problem, its a new IU and toner.

This problem is sorted, it was a bad Black Image unit. Put the old one back and image was better.
