Konica C452 - black toner depleting quickly after drum unit replacement

hi,
i've noticed my black toner is depleting very quickly after replacing the drum unit.
it's down to 40% from Full in a matter of hours with a max of a few hundred prints.

is this normal after drum replacement?

if not? where's all the ink going?

thanks for the replies guys, the problem went on so i spoke to konica support. they think it's because of the developer unit.
they're despatching a new one to use at which point engineer will come to install.
