The transfer belt and fuser require only a knowledgeable tech to reset no fuses or special gear required. The PPLM firmware can also be installed by a qualified tech then set to not display the end of life messages.

Easy, Use New release menu in service mode.

Hi,

go to service mode, then counter, then life, then new release, that should reset the fuser and transfer belt,

Don't forget to open the front cover, select fuser or transferbelt and hit start button.

Bad idea...now you've told the MFP that you have installed new parts...It's going to cause some big CQ issues..the PPLM firmware is a better idea. EMujo

saved me a newbie a tonne of money!
successfully replaced the teflon, thermo , ITB and fuser roller to an old 360 konika
now running as good as new!!

Oh! Thanks. Just to show The good that we do lives on long after we are gone!
9 years later, it's the thread that taught my thick head I had to open the cover for the settings to work!

As a newbie I need time to learn how to navigate these threads as they are super valuable
