Just wondering if there is any reason not to remove the spiked output guide wheels on a KM c6501, or if anyone has seen an issue where they leave deep scratches in the paper stock and have another solution for this than just removing the wheel assembly. (running 10pt c2s 13x19).

Thank you all for your time! :)

Hi,
I wouldn't remove these as they are there to stop scratch marks on the paper. They ensure that the paper does not rub on the metal exit guides. I have never seen any issues with these scratching stock, if they are not rotating though it may cause scratching.
Hope this info is useful
