What was the original call for? And am I missing something here, I see cyan on the test sheet you attached?

The color cleaning motor is not turning. Turn machine off, take the back cover off, turn on machine and all motors should spin. Replace the ones that are not turning.

the original call was for blue dots - replaced cyan drum then got no cyan on color belt U089 - only the blue marks... After that we tried new cyan drum, dev and transfer belt - no result.

I have seen a similar fault on other models as a main charge issue.

I'm with madas on this one. If the interval is 38.9mm it's the primary charge roller arcing.

Did you replace just the cyan drum, or the cyan drum unit assembly (which includes the primary charge unit)? New parts or used? =^..^=

Here's a couple of samples I have of this fault.

If you already replaced Drum Unit, Dev. Unit and Transfer Belt and the result is the same as you said then check the values of U100 (Adjust DC2)? Maybe somebody mess around with the settings.

It still looks to me like the cyan drum is not cleaned. The waste toner builds up on top of the drum unit and the tran belt rubbs on that toner and leaves marks on all prints.

yep - i replaced the cyan drum unit assembly, cyan dev and transfer belt. Also swapped out with Yellow drum (which includes the main charger) - same result.

I checked the high voltage and bias values -everything looks normal. We’ll go back tomorrow and take it apart…

What about the color cleaning motor?

What about the color cleaning motor?

We fixed it today - the board interface where the color drums and devs connects was causing the faulty ground issue (blue marks on prints). Thanks everyone!
