Hi I have a Cf-2002 photocopier with a cn3102e controller, however I cannot access the controller via its web browser because it has a fixed IP progamed in (192.168.16.200), which is not on my network (192.168.1. 64 - 251. it also has DHCP switched off, Wins off, DNS off, etc. can anyone advise how I can enter the controller and change the IP /dhcp so I can access the system

Thanks

SIMPLE, find a desktop or laptop, and a crossover cable (if you know networking), if not get a 4 port switch.

Set your IP manually to match the fiery.

i would go with 196.168.16.100

255.0.0.0, unless the fiery is set differently. Idea is to match the fiery.

(here is a link with info to set your ip address) (http://www.overclock.net/t/93129/how-to-manually-configure-an-ip-address-step-by-step)

if everything is working you should be able to browse the fiery, just by typing HTTP://192.168.16.200 in any browser.

you should be able to connect both the fiery and pc to any 4 port switch. (switch not router, so it doesnt try to push a IP address).

find one on ebay for 10.00 (any old 4 port switch should do), if you want to do some reading you can use a crossover cable instead.

ummm, you know you can just enter the fiery setup menu from the copiers control panel. You can either press the "i" on the main screen or press controller details within the utility menu and access it in there.

once in the fiery setup you can change what ever you like, including network settings to make it suitable for what you require.

default password is Fiery.1
