C6501 intermitant jams J-9301 and J-7401
Machine has 1.6m they run a ton of post cards like 10PT duplex.
I think its the exit de-curling roller, but it only has 800K on it, two scenario's... The only other part i can see is the fuser guide sheet, the bar in the fuser with mylar that prevents the sheet from sticking.
This is 12x18 sheets, thick 3 (216GSM)
one is they start to get marks on the lead edge, toward the front 3-5MM, sometimes it will tare the same edge, but push through. Other times 2 sheets will overlap entering the RU while still in the fuser. Either way ends with a jam J-7401.
Other jam is 2 sheets in duplex cycle, one sheet entering the fuser, one sheet waiting to flip in the duplex. Ending in a J-9301.
I obtained a spare RU, its a new RU503, figure i can pull parts, or just swap out the entire RU, it was cheaper then replacing all the drive rollers, plus they will have parts.
any one seen something like this... I dont think its due for the duplex drive conveyance rollers yet, even though i have cleaned them a few times. an old combo of events, makes me think they may be related.
Any help would be appreciated.
see attached - not as bad as it can get but shows the general area---
