auth. device not detected - KMC550

    Hi all,
put a refurbished C550 machine into a customer, on the front screen is a error message regarding some kind of authorization device that is no longer connected to the machine. (finger vein scanner) we have authorized printing set up, and you have to click a tab at the top to go to the login screen. the homescreen is a different tab that is related to the auth. device.

so i pose the question to all you copier techies.... how do we remove/turn off the setting that is telling the machine to look for this external auth. device?

a quick answer would be helpful.
    quite urgent!

    cheers

    Carlos

IIRC, Stop - 9 in service mode, Management Function Choice to "UnSet".
