We have a really strange IT problem with a c454 the customer has a proxy server and requires the machine to connect to an external email server. So if I enter in the proxy information username, port, pass etc in the machine just doesn't want to play ball and refuses to connect although I have no way to check if the machine is connecting to the proxy properly.
If I use my laptop put in all the same info it will connect to the net fine but the machine won't.
Is there anything else that I need to enter into the machine that is some how different between a laptop and the photocopier?
Or a way I can check the proxy settings? At the copier.
I've checked the email settings by just trying them on a phone so that side is fine.
I updated fw as well to the latest to no joy
