Hello All!

I have an issue with a C352. The data light blinks, but no print jobs come through. I have crossed over to the machine with no avail, I have also initialized the data in the machine. Does anyone have any ideas. The customer has windows 7 (64) and it has pcl loaded...

sounds like user authentication or account track is turned on.

If you are using the Vendor 2 setting than all print jobs have to be sent as secure print jobs.

Most likely password'ed,check Authentication/Account Track settings in the print driver.

Thanks to everyone for your replies, unfortunately, I wish it were as simple as authentication or account tracking, neither is being used. Any other suggestions?

Re-install the print driver and try.

Any deleted jobs in the log? If not then I would try connecting a laptop to it to verify the printing. I have had issues with W7, particularly the 64bit version on newer models than the c352!!

Thanks for the reply, yes I have already crossed over to the machine and could not print, additionally I tried to print directly from the controller to no avail also...

What controller is it? Fiery or the built in one. Does it have a fixed ip address and can you ping it?
Are you saying you can't get any test prints from the machine at all (config or demo) and has it printed successfully in the past?

Emperon controller, static ip, yes it can be pinged, no it does not print demo pages, yes it printed in the past....

Once I had same problem on C353. I resolved it by reloading the firmware.

hi,
maybe the setting for the controller is not correct in the system if it has fiery controller. Try setting to "controller 1"

go to service mode - look for image controller - make sure its stated on mode 1 - maybe it helps

Hi,

I know this is an old thread but I thought somebody might still be around to help.

I also have a C352 where the network settings have been setup incorrectly and now the network settings tab has disappeared. The copier can not be pinged right now so the only option I believe I have is to perform a nic recovery firmware update from a compact flash card but every time it just says invalid card.

Can anyone recommend a 100% compatible card?

Cards I've heard may work:
Sandisk Ultra 2 256MB
Sandisk Shoot & Store 128MB

Hi,

** Problem Solved **

To anyone missing the network settings tab in administrator settings and also the image controller tab in service mode the solution that solved it for me was ARP and PING. Immediately after the successful ping the missing menu tabs reappeared and I successfully managed to print a test page.
