The adf talks to the copier body through that cord that plugs into the copier. They have their own language, I think it's Navajo.

Now if you want a serious answer, buy a service manual and read "theory of operation"

I thought this was a serious forum for serious opinions of experts.
Apparently I'm wrong.

Maybe my question is too complicated for you.

I decided my problem, I don't need your help.

We are serious techs, that is why we like serious questions. Your question made no sense to us, you did not post a problem you ask for an explanation on how something works without any background on why. Next time try describing the problem and what steps you have taken to resolve the problem. If you don't want to be treated like an end user, don't act like one.

At least you called it as you saw it, I don't think there's more than 1 guy on this forum that could read and make sense of those signals but that doesn't seem to stop any of them from fixing the hardware in the longrun.
