If you dont have access to the

Load up NV RAM recovery files onto CF Card.

Shove card in machine and boot up

Select NVRAM initialize, YES
NIC reset, NO
Then re apply normal firmware (GY8-K0 ??)

Go through run up procedure again.

Hi
Where should I Shove card machine?

Pardon me, but if you're asking that then you have no idea of what you're doing.

What card do you have that you're trying to put in the machine?

If you unplug the NV RAM and boot up copier do you get a screen with planets on it?

From memory you should see Planets and if you dont the Print Controller is more likely the problem.

Thank you
Not the hourglass
Screen is completely black, and none of the keyboard keys do not work:(

Could be the hard drive. It's worth disconnecting it and seeing if the machine starts up before you do the nvram recovery.

I've got the NVRAM recovery tool, as well as the firmware and the parts & service manual. Buy the firmware and I'll throw in the service manual. If interested, contact me EMAIL at paul@justmanuals.com

when machine boots does it go through motion of stabilization, does it sound like its warmin up?

I Would

1) unplug NV RAM and power on and see if your result changes.
2) unplug the HDD then boot up into trouble reset mode. Once there it should then allow you to enter service mode using the usal stop 00 stop 01. Set HDD in System 2 to Not Installed. Boot up. If that helps its time for new hard disk. Those old PATA drives would be over 6 years old so its to be expected they will start failing.
3) if 2) didnt help I would try NV RAM Recovery.
4) if 3) didnt help i would Replace Print Controller Board
5) if 4) didnt help re install the old board and get replacement NV RAM. Ive never personally sent away for NV RAM as i palm this off to the senior tech but its a pain in the ass.

I havent had any problems like this on the C450 but have on the C250 I recent had i tried all the above and it ended up being the print controller.

Had another one recently on a C360 and that was the MFP Board.

So in my experience with this sort of thing its always been the main controller

It happened to me exactly the same problem similar to a bizhub C450. Start the engine spinning machine .. hourglass appears a few seconds and then turns off the screen. What do you advise me to do? I don't have another NVRAM to test it and no nvram software for his recovery. Or it could be the hard drive or controller? Has failed even while i was giving him a print. :( Tnx
