Hi I currently working on a c35
the issue I'm having is paper misfeed from tray two only
i have replaced the feed tyre sep pad and clutch.
i can't get the machine to jam or misfeed myself but the customer reports it is misfeeding.
i have checked in service mode it has had 197 jams on tray 2.
any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated

oh and has anyone got a service manual for this machine as I can't get hold of one and I don't want to buy one.

thanks nigel

The cassette has a locating pin that breaks off. Should be on the right side.

Also the springs under the lift plate can be stretched.

There's a nice bulletin with these and other common jam solutions

Oh the dreaded C35 cassette jams.. This machine is such a POS I wont even get into that.. But in my experience the stuff listed in the bulletin never worked. I do know that 9 times out of 10 when a customer complains about it. I go in and check that silver plate under the feed roller and the sep roller. It tends to slide off just enough out of the slot, and cause ghost jams etc. usually you can just push it back up in place in the slot it fits into. I have been tempted to just glue the thing in place myself.

Hi there!
I agree 100% with CompyTec. Every now and then change the rollers & forget about the bulletins. This machine is POS & PITA!!

Have small machines from KM ever been anything other than a POS that tarnishes the reputation of the company? Certainly not in my experience anyway.

The 40p seems the least shitty of them all, only because its a rebranded xerox, but it still considered a POS by many.

Anybody have the part number for tray 2? I need to order one. Is it the same as tray 3-4? I'm trying to find it in the parts manual with no luck.
Also google search and all I find is cassette assembly A121-R701-11, A121R70111 (http://www.precisionroller.com/a121r70111-for-konica-minolta/part_number.html), A121-R701-00 (http://www.precisionroller.com/a121-r701-00-for-konica-minolta/part_number.html), A121R70100 (http://www.precisionroller.com/a121r70100-for-konica-minolta/part_number.html). Is this the correct part number? Does it come complete or will I need to order roller, sep pad, etc?
