1050e finisher probs

Hi all.

Im having a prob on a 1050e. Its missing the last sheet when stapling, staple unit has been changed but still same prob.

Hi Dave,
I would adjust the side guides a bit further apart. The last sheet hasn't got much time to drop down before stapling occurs. If the guides are in too far it restricts the paper as it is dropping down.
If it is however the first sheet that is mis-stapling then there is probably a PET sheet that is mis-aligned, details of this below



2) Cause
Position failure of PET sheet placed on the upper side of staple guide block (15AA4225).
(The correct position of PET sheet is the upper side of staple guide block.)
If PET sheet is positioned on the bottom side of staple guide block, lead edge of 1st sheet is caught and staple failure may occur.

3) Action
Check the position of PET sheet at installation.
(The PET sheets are installed at two locations.)
