Like the title says this machine is buckling the paper between the exit of the transport and the finisher entrance. Does it a little on letter and terribly on 11X17. I can not seem to find any adjustment for it in the service mode so any suggestions?
It acts like the finisher is just slow to start the paper feed drive into the finisher.
Anyway hoping someone has seen this before.
Thanks

On high volume machines (2 million plus), you end up with a worn actuator tip in the relay unit. This will result in long papers rolling up at the finisher entrance. J72-13 when just feeding straight out of the finisher and J72-14 if using the saddle stitcher. Another thing that can cause paper feed speed issues in the relay unit is a screwed turn over unit. (the unit above the fusing unit)

Also make sure the eject drive unit bushings and gears and its drive bushing from the fusing drive unit are not flogged out. This will also cause issues if there is enough slop to cause gear teeth skipping when sending drive to the exit unit. (top of right side door)

This machine has about 300K on it. Although the finisher was just swapped out. I think it had a 527 and it was replaced with this 526 with the SD508 Saddle Unit.

Are you sure about the model? I did not know that the FS-526 would work on a C452.

ich have the same combination, and it works, but i have the curled Papier between the entrence and conveyance Unit, too. A3 is terrible, but works. And today i had the same Question and Konicaminolta say: You can not Change this. But officially: this Finisher is not for C452. Only 552 and 652. I dont no what we can do here.

The C-452 needs the FS-527 finisher which is very different.

When the buckle is not that large, perhaps one could modify the diameter of the exit roller of the paper exit section?

Well the copier sees it fine and even recognizes the SD508 Saddle Unit. I folds and does everything else fine. Wow and they special ordered this finisher from a wholesaler LOL. They are going to be mad because the FS527 is gone.

LOL indeed, I didnt think I'd ever seen a 452 with a FS-526, Everyone I've worked on has had the FS-527. My above comments still apply to anyone with those symptoms on a high volume fs-526, it only took me about 6 hours to work out WTF was going on there.

After me the crumpled paper but a little disturbed at the transition, here is my solution to the problem.
Paper now has enough space, nothing crease. 're Running a few weeks.
Simply an aluminum spacer and good. Look at the photos.
In the last picture you can even see the A3 paper.

Very unusual but clever solution and when it works and the customer doesn't complain why not?

Congrats!

Gratuliere!

I had a 526 that buckled and jammed 11x17 paper going into the finisher and mine turned out to be the one way bearings in the transport unit. Might want to check
