reo IC 304 doesn't connect to KM 6500

Hi ,

I have new reo IC 304 and install it with KM C6500 (vesion Image Control I1 -> A03U0Y0-00I1-G00-41), after the reo 304 finished starting everything is Ready , but the "Controller" button on KM 6500 still hide .
How is it ? I need upgrade Firmware to 6.0 ?

I used Fiery 303 before but I have just bought a reo 304.

what version is the Creo at?

shouldbe at 2.1 or at least 2.0 anything older and your going to have issues.

also your firmware needs to be upto date on the copier.


The C6500 is older, the IC304 is made for the C6501, if you firmware is dated it wont know how to look for it.


when you connect them both, do you get the NETWORK icon just below, where it says "printer warming up", "printing" or "adjusting".....

that tells you if the MPF see's the controller.


i have the iso for the creo and patches that you may need. I also have the firmware if you know how to do it, i can post it for you.

When I connected reo 304 in to C6500 and C6501 the Status says "Ready" when you do anything with Copier like : open tray, open door or adjustment... the reo shows you know, both C6500 and c6501 is the same "Controller" button on copier hide (I tried connect to KMc6500, C6501, Ikon CPP650 ans Oce S650 is the same ) reo starting up good and have no error it can see all operations copier which it connected . any problem with the cable , I used the long black original cable .
I don't know the version reo 2.0 or 2.1 but I upgrade KM firmware from 41 to 60 and 70 the "controller" button still hide.

if you have the iso for reo and patches please help me for this issue ?

I need system software for my IC304 because the hdd has crashed.

C6500 with Fiery IC303 or IC305 controller the controller button on the machine screen is active.

C6500 with Creo IC304 the controller button stays off - this is normal.

Copier firmware current version is 70. Download is available from KM support website. Creo will produce magic results with copier firmware less than version 60.
