Hey all, please help before I go insane. Got this C451 with P14 error that wont go away. Updated firmware, Replaced transfer belt, IU units, IDC reg sensors, Laser unit - PH relay board and even PRCB control board. Copy quality is great and machine works well - if only that alert would go away..

You haven't mentioned if you've done the Image Stabilization and background resets after PH and or IU replacement. Emujo

There is a special firmware for this P14 problem to give a wider window of detection. Not got details to hand tho.

Have you performed the PH skew adjustment?

Have you performed the PH skew adjustment?P-14 means there is a skew problem. There is a special firmware for this problem. PRCB is the only part that has to be flashed with this special firmware. So follow this step by step----1. Do "Skew Adjustment Reset" then run "Initialize+Image Stabilization"
2. Turn off copier.
3. Apply firmware GC1-22 for the Printer control. MFP firmware must be at atleast R5.
4 Do "Skew Adjustment Reset" then run "Initialize+Image Stabilization" again.
5. Turn off and on the copier.
6. Run Gradation for all three modes and then run Stabilizer again.

This procedure usually fixes P-14 codes.

Hello,

We're also having this problem on a machine but we can't find the Special FW. Can you please provide that firmware?

Thanks

It's not special firmware. It's under base firmware.
