I received the following e-mail from one of my accounts. Never seen this before so posting here for help. Thanks for any ideas.
Printing the PDF files created by C253 scanners is intolerably slow at 6.7ppm
The results are the same when printed from 3 different computers (Win 7 64bit and 2 Win XP 32 bit) to 3 different printers (BizHub 222, 200 and C253) with PDF scans from
3 different C253s (RT202, GSP 9, 10 & 11 and A/R).
I also tried changing the driver on an XP computer from PCL to PS with no improvement.
Print speed is 1 page every 9 seconds or 6.7 ppm (timed with a stopwatch) with the following settings at the scanner;
Resolution=200x200
Color=grey scale
Original=text
Density=middle
Output=compact PDF Note: with output set to standard PDF the print speed goes to about 1 page every 7 seconds or 8.6 ppm, but the files sizes are too large to email
The only thing that I see in common is that the PDFs are made by C253s.
