I would suggest to change developing unit K and developer, is shutters on color reg assy opening and closing properly?

It's a common problem with 6000/7000

no fix as far as I know from KM

I have had some success from doing a full CQ setup with a GOOD QUALITY PAPER

Problem can disappear for months then return again.

anyone with a definite fix for this will be a superstar.

Wanted to update on my 2814 issue.

Code can be reset for some time by the following
Reset code by turning off main body
Enter tech rep mode asap once engine is back up
Go to system settings
Change dip switch 11=0 to a 1
Run auto gamma
Change dip switch 11=0 back to 0

I noticed like others my bias number for black was at 250 and would not change. Tried running several hundred test print 53 at 255 still no change. Tried another drum and still no change, swapped dv units with cyan and ran auto gamma and bias numbers changed. Moved units back in correct position and black bias now changes with each auto gamma.
I then made these changes to hopefully correct the issue going forward
Set ac bias fine adj and toner density fine adj to -5
Set dip switches 11-1 to a 1. Switch 38-1 and 38-2 to 1 duty cycle switches
Swv19-7 to a 1
Run about 100 test prints at 255
Run auto gamma

I still think with issue comes up when machine is ran with a very high coverage of a particular color and then subsequent jobs that follow have very little of that color or none at all. What I am not sure of is why the bias number gets stuck at 250.
