Hi,

I hope somebody can help me.

I recently bought a second hand Bizhub C351 and have managed to reset the password but I'm having difficulty registering it on my network. I run a Windows based network and I suspect the printer is setup for Mac.

I have printed out the Config files for the printer which are as follows:

Basically, I know nothing about setting up printers but I'm pretty technically minded and fairly proficient at networks etc. I'd like some advice on how to get this printer running on a Windows based system (assuming it is setup for use on Mac as above). I have tried to reconfigure the IP address on the IP settings page (Administrator setup) but it won't let me change anything - the IP settings are locked. DHCP is set to 'ON' but there is no 'OFF'?

Any help greatly appreciated and I thank you for your time and effort up front!

Regards,

Darv

Since the machine is fitted with a Fiery (external print controller), you don't set the network settings in the machine itself but on the Fiery controller. You do this by going to Controller Settings under the menu, the entering setup by scrolling down a step, entering the password stated above and entering Protocol -> Ethernet setup.

The Fiery is the only thing connected directly to the network and gives the machine an IP adress via DCHP.
