I have a bizhub C224e. No display. Fans operating when open/close doors. The start button just flashes amber/blue. This problem started out as intermittent, but now I cannot get passed this issue. I've formatted hdd, disabled it, replaced MEMS, performed all data clear, SSD format, resated connectors.
Has anyone seen this?

Ya I know there was a run of bad HDD's, but if I tell the machine it doesn't have one, and still displays the same issue, I don't think it has anything to do with the HDD the copier doesn't know it has :)

Took the HDD right out of the machine and disabled it from service mode. HDD is not required to operate. Just uses MEMS....

Check data cable between PWB-MFP and panel (light grey one) - I had similar behavior when cable was broken in C224.

Download the Km reset tool for this device. Then power up machine and select recover data and then load firmware

Don't use the reset tool on your original MFP board
its not to fix faults .... replace MFP ....then you can reset that one if you need to put it in another machine.

Remember all three boards talk to each other
If you reset the MFP board ..and then it turns out the PRCB was faulty
Then you have two new boards = Error on startup

I know because we had this happen.

Can you get into service mode ?
Try trouble reset - When trouble button is displayed ..then go Stop,0,0 etc
