Inner Finishers have a habit of frightening the heck out of Techs ie, the units are seldom included in the Machine Servicing.
There is only a half a dozen screws in the covers to access the Transport/Delivery Rollers, shafts & bushings for lube, make sure these and the large exit rollers are cleaned properly (I use Meths)or replace them, the main reason for skewing & mis-stapling.

The grippers on the S1 inner finisher were modified. I didn't discover it though, until I had one break the front gripper. My machine errored out E000575-000 then isolated the finisher. It did it about once every 30 days.

Replace stack delivery slider (4F3-0243-000), operation tray (4A3-1044-000), and Op Tray Sheets (4A3-1074-000). =^..^=

If the Offset Rollers (4A3-1121-000) have become worn or damaged, the paper may not fully eject from the Finisher. If the Offset Rollers are worn or damaged they should be replaced.

Is everything moving correctly mechanically? If not could be finisher board..i would pop one in quickly to check...takes 5 min. I've changed a few finisher boards on these
