Hello I have a problem with Konica 223 print has 2 black stripes, which I think are in the oven, roll scratched, is in the picture attached below

You can buy the roll separately or the oven should be changed altogether?

Yes, you have a bad heat roller, also known as fuser roller. Konica Minolta sells these fusers as a unit. As far as I know, there are no aftermarket suppliers of individual fuser parts. You'll have to buy the assembly.

Let me guess. You've got about 240,000 copies on that fuser? That's about all I can seem to get from the bizhub 223, 283, 363, 423 series. They are supposed to yield 500K but never do. =^..^=

Their rollers have been getting gouged for ten years, 200s,500,423s doesn't matter.

Not redesigning the thermostats shows a total disregard for quality. It seems so simple to fix.

That is a pretty good run for one of these, have had some with marks at 100k and less.

We had 200-350s that would run 500k+ perfectly..... these not a chance.

Thinking about trying the +5 degrees on one that we replace new and see how it goes.

I understand that this roller would be compatible with the KONICA MINOLTA 223

has anyone done this operation to change the roll?

after I opened and cleaned, those black streaks are not so pronounced even after 550K pages, but I would like however to change the roller

with 500k at the original fuser? are you sure it has not been replaced before? also just a thought if you bought one on ebay. are you overseas? make sure that it has the correct market area for your region.
also. I had to replace several at right at 100 k. for some reason. horrible design. and the fusers are expensive. the bizhub 350 fusers lasted longer for me. with half the price.

After you cleaned it of course the streaks are not so pronounced. But you still have coating missing as it is worn down to the substrate. Without the coating the toner is just going to build up on the worn down area again instead of all of the toner staying on the paper. Very soon it will start streaking again.

The fused has probably been changed before. Never seen one get anywhere near that page count.
