C6501 getting a C-0213 only while printing.
Swapped motors with the duplex motor, and that made it run better (before i think the motor was not activating fast enough, changed out the flag sensors, as well, but they all seemed ok.
I hope it just a dirty PS10 sensor failing. Odd that it doesnt happen in I/O mode...
at least not that i can duplicate.
I have a job to run that i guess stops to cool down the fuser for the cover sheet, and in turn cam's the exit assembly open. Thats when it codes.
Any one ever see this?

Hi,
have a look at following parts: gears (paperexit gear /2 and /5) A03U909502; A03U909701 Paper Exit Decurlerroller: A03U892601, Shaft: A03U892501, Regulating Shaft: A03U892902, compare with partsmanual page 69
at first try to clean the bearings inside the gears and the regulating cam with alkohol...

it happened to me more than once and I solved it by replacing this gear A03U909502 :)
is described on the c7000 troubleshooting

Think it applies to C6501 as well.

Most probable cause of machine code C-0213 is a slipping one-way paper exit drive gears and a worn regulating shaft. For best results all parts listed here should be replaced at the same time. This assembly is too hard to get to so doing a half way job does not pay.
Gears with one-way
A03U909502 Exit gear 5 - 40 teeth
A03U909701 Exit Gear 3 - 23 teeth
Shaft with cams – Large gear with one-way rides on this PN A03U892902
- new style to help prevent C-0213
Foam Roller PN A03U892600
Exit Roller B Metal Roller with gray stone coating above foam roller PN A03U892500
Ball Bearings for roller ends PN A00J617800 - 6 required
E-Clips
V217040050 - 10 required
V217060050 - 6 required
Clips tend to wear here due to side forces
Note:
You can easily put this thing together wrong. Suggest taking a picture of the cam and sensor flag disk before you start.
