I withdrew a C353 as a result of a problem with the black drum. Now the machine prints only half page in black and white and offsets all colors. I tried to change black drum, black laser and PWB. Can you help me?

Post a sample. What leads you to believe that it's a black drum issue? =^..^=

In a machine control we noticed that the black imaging unit was losing a lot of black toner that we found inside and on the laser unit. So we replaced black imaging unit and tried to clean laser.
Machine status was p6 and p21 and it was printing only half page.

Then we tried to replace black laser unit, Cyano imaging unit, belt and last PWB.

In Service Mode I can't perform Stabilizer under Image Process Adjustment - Gradiation adjustment

Thanks for your help

While I was writing the list of changed parts I noticed that the laser cyano had not been changed. So I proceeded and I took off and put back the black laser unit. Now it's alright. Thanks

indeed, that image uploaded looked a hell of a lot like a severely crooked black print head.

It had been almost a year between laser replacements for me.

I got to do one recently, all I could remember was it's a pain to do with the finisher, so I was pleased to see no finisher.

I accessed the printhead no problem, but struggled to get it in and out.

Checking gradation afterwards I said "damn I need to come back with a t-belt", it's dented and smudged.

Two days later, I awoke in my sleep. Oh, crap the dents and smudges were because I didn't remove the t-belt.

Doh!

you can still do it easily with the finisher remaining installed.

Although totally unacceptable as far as the service manual is concerned, it is possible to remove the front panel with minimal disassembly if your prepared to "flex" the rules a bit ;)

Now there is another problem. I put the original PWB, thinking that wasn't the problem, and now the machine will stop with the error C-3101. I tried to change fuser unit without getting results. Do you think can I make other attempts before putting a new PWB?
