Hi Guys,i'm seeing a streak of black toner going down the side of my page, i was wondering if one of you great gurus can shed some light on this, much appreciated.

Hi,
Could be either transfer or drum cleaning failure. If the toner on the page is black only it will be drum, if it is a mix of colours it wil be transfer belt cleaning failure.

If that black area is from lead to trail edge of the paper it sure looks like a failed developer unit to me.
As bad as that one is you should be able to see something if you remove the transfer belt and drum to look at the magnetic developer brush in the dev unit.Comment

First of all, what is the paper set up regular or R, if R i would say it's drum, but could be all that mentioned above. More info needed to determine exact problem.Comment

swap the charge units and take a close look at the black DV-unit.Comment
