I have a client who would like to have SMB set up on his server 2012. The device is Bizhub C6000. When scanning to folder, the job says complete but it doesn't show up in the SMB Folder. We have double checked all settings such as: "When registering an SMB network folder to a Bizhub Pro or Bizhub Press follow this formatting."

Register Name: Name of the Button or Folder
Reference Name: Name of the Button or Folder
Host Address: Servers IP Address (does NOT start with \\)
File Path: Share\folders as needed (does NOT start with \)
Login Name: Domain or Computer Name\Username
Password:

The client is suggesting/asking about konica's settings for server 2012. Does anyone have knowledge on Konica's security/server/smb settings?

Thank you for the input in advance.

I do not known the "big" machines but on the office series like bizhub c224e, you have to enable ntlm 1+2 in network smb protocol...
And i found a special firmware to fix problems with smb.

Hi,
It appears as if you have set it up correctly. The biggest mistake people make is not including the domain name.
Check the DNS server settings in the fiery. Apart from that there may be security setting in the 2012 server that blocks SMB comms.
I would set up FTP scanning as it is much easier

Thank you for your input. I had informed this client before hand about FTP. Sometimes you can't help the people who think they know it all.
