I have installed many of these lately for customers who want to expand their copiers and I am actually looking for the part number or numbers for the COMPLETE KIT - everthing needed;

The frame w/fan that the hard drive is mounted into, the board that plugs into the main board, that the hard drive gets plugged into, and the cable to connect the two.

I know they don't come with hard drives, but I have that part covered.
The only part of a part number I have is HDD105 -Not in parts manual.

Any help my way, and I would be another a happy camper!

Thanks again for all your help in the past
Tammy

What model(s)? If it's the 600/750 for example, it is the HD-503.

The DI-650 uses the HDD-2 hard disk KIT......... This includes eveything you need to install the HD.

Can anyone pull 2 of these form 7165/ 7255/72 and sell me 2 kits.

I have 3 7255/72, the 7272 has the hd-105, and is able to spool up 3 times as many pages with less ram in the ip-511a.

the other 2 7255 does not have the hd-105 and only spools 300 pages vs the 7272 which can spool 1500 pages.

Thanks

Thee kits can be purchased from memory experts, quite a bit cheaper than OEM

Memory Experts International - CANRAM copier memory, printer memory, fax memory, pc memory and copier cabinets (http://www.memoryexpertsinc.com/en/wheretobuy.php)

Guy at memory experts said they never manufactored a hd-105 kit.

Any other idea's. I would think you are shipping out 7145/55/65 all the time, can someone pull the kit, its the hard drive, the bracket, screws, and the logic board (small), ribbon cable.

I will gladly pay a few bucks for one to test this out. Email if any one has one willing to part it out.

thanks for your help.

I am almost certain we get them from memory experts here in Canada their part numbers are usually the manufactures part number with a MX in front of it, give me a day or two to look into this I'll see what I can find out.

I was mistaken. We get the IP-511 HD from them but not the main body kits.
