Customer has a FS-4020DN with 437K on the clock. As far as I can see it needs an upper fuser roller, feed/takeup rollers and in the display it says Need Maintenance Kit (or words TTE).

A) Question: Are above mentioned Fuser and Takeup/Feed Rollers included in the maintenance kit? What is that kit otherwise?
Any part # please for all the needed parts.

B) Same customer has also a FS-4000DN with 253K on the clock with exactly the same issues as the previous one. So please also give me the necessary part # if possible.

Lots of thanks for any help

These machines need a Maintenance Kit every 300k. It contains a drum, development unit, a fusing unit, a transfer roller and feed rollers for one paper tray. I'll look up the part no.'s

The FS-4000 uses Maintenance Kit MK-320 and the FS4020 uses Maintenance Kit MK-360. Can't find the part numbers.

Check the Release Bulletin (bulletin 1). The part numbers for European machines will differ from US part numbers. =^..^=

Machines are up and working, but........, the FS-4020DN has a broken Transfer roller support right hand side, though the machine is working for the moment.

Is the broken part in the picture #302F924190, is that correct? Don't want to order the wrong part for many $$$$ €€€€€'s

Correct sir. I suspect it's a snap fit. I'd recommend snipping the old one in half with cutters, so as to risk less damage to the main body feature. And be sure to catch the spring when it flies. Zing!!! =^..^=

Thanks Cat, and I know that Zing!! sound too well :) I'll order both, the bushing + spring. My hands are a little shaky these days.......

BTW, why is the MK-320 with 350.00 Euro's for the FS-4000 so much more expensive than the MK-360 with 160.00 Euro's for the FS-4020DN?

The content of both kits look to me more or less the same.

At least here the FS-4000 series is more popular. Maybe supply versus demand? ( ... if I remember my college Economics correctly ... ) =^..^=

Those are TOUGH printers.

NOTE :

If you start having registration problems when these get to about 1.5 million .... ( We have had to replace some as low a count as 1.3 ; depends on the media they are using ) you may need to replace the Registration actuator and spring: They apparently start to wear down a little bit .
