Anyone here could help me reset my konica 7040 to its default display? When i bought it the display was like the 7045 screen display which if you adjust any setting like for example choosing tray to use is just pressing the corresponding tray in the screen, for adjusting density is to press the lighter and darker button etc but now to adjust these setting I would press the button below each button for simplex/duplex, density, zoom, and tray, and then choices will appear. Its a waste of time for me since i need to press these buttons first before choices will appear unlike the previous display which you press directly to the screen the settings you want. Thank you guys..

Re: konica 7040
I thought I could help you out but it is not in the manuals that I have not thrown away yet. If I recall correctly, there were two switch settings in the 25 mode that had to be changed for the "one touch" screen. I think 11-5,6 to a 1 was one of them but it has been too many years to say for sure. -

Re: konica 7040
Ahhh I remember getting trained on that box. It was the first Konica Minolta box I was trained on. Let's see... I think that was about 14 years ago..... Great box for it's day.Color is not 4 times harder... it's 65,000 times harder. They call it "TECH MODE" for a reason. I have manual's and firmware for ya, course... you are going to have to earn it.
