Hitachi DDS 40 does not read hdd

When the printer boots display will read "no disks found", the drive is in the machine but I think it has been formatted. There must be a way to load the printers os back on. It is using a 2gig Toshiba 2.5 drive.

I had one with this problem and Hitachi said they stopped suppoting it. The machine works great till you run into a problem that you need tech support. Try calling hytech. I think they have tech support for problems like this. I just upgraded them to a newer machine.
