BH-C-353 making a squealing noise coming from the fuser drive section.

I believe it is caused by a rusty CL6 clutch (#A02E M200 00, page 44 pos. 30).

Did any of you guys tried the brutal method of just flushing from outside that clutch with brake cleaner or even WD-40 (shows how desperate I feel....) or am I condemned this coming Friday to go on the thorny path to remove those trillion screws and parts to reach that §$%&! clutch.

Any good suggestions please for an alternative solution and I'll buy you a bunch of good cold German beers....

Replace the MFP....this is an alternate method of alleviating the noise, and much easier than replacing the clutch...let me know when I can give you the address for those cold beers...Emujo

If it is the clutch im thinking your talking about, ie, the one inside the fuser drive assy that actuates the colour first transfer rollers i would be replacing it or the complete assembly. Trust me, you dont want to have to go back here twice should the clutch fail 2 weeks later.

There is no easy way of doing this, just setup, sit down and relax and start.
