I'm not real familar with the PF602. It will feed a few sheets then jam. I find
a sheet of paper just before the registration, 1 at the bottom of the PF602
Verticle path and one at the top. It looks to me that there is a sheet missing.
The spacing of the paper in the path does not seem correct. The
Paper is not damaged. The paper is 20lb Staples paper.
I told my customer it is not a good idea to leave the paper unwrapped on a pallet in
the warehouse, where they use a garage door. Here in Phoenix paper changes
it's mositure content fast in the heat.
He sez he just ran 200K without any jams last month. Its hotter now.
At any rate I did not find a one bearing in the PF602 path.
This unit has around 820K on the meter.
I have not found a total count on the PF unit.
May be a clutch?

I have discovered that I do not have the parts book
For the PF602.
I was looking for the clutch part numbers for the horizontal
Conveyance of the PF602.
Are they the same as the PF601?

Thanks

Clutches are 56AA82012. Most times, the part number is stamped on the clutch.

It definitely sounds like one of the clutches. There are 3 in the horizontal section and 3 in the vertical section. If you don't have new clutches, the clutches on the tray 4 and 5 feed units are the same in case you need to swap them out to narrow down the problem. Most of my customers don't use tray 5 (too lazy to bend down I suppose) so the clutches are usually nearly new.

:)
Good suggestion, I will swap them around for trouble shooting.
My Customer got this unit about 2 months ago and likes it when it
runs.
I'll fix it.

Thank you very much for the assist.

It was the horizontal clutches. Could not tell you which one. I put 1 new one in and robbed two from tray 5 feed assy.
Then it ran great.
