C451 all lights on solid plus blank display

Hi Guys

We have a customer with all lights on solid and a blank display. Apparently there was a power cut in a thunder storm. I'm sure something has been fried, any ideas where to start with this one?

Sounds like NVram problem, i think there is a Firmware reset for tthe NVram on the tech website.

I agree. I just had a c550 where the customer experienced a power outage during a storm and the copier would not come back on when power returned. Turned out to be the RAM. I replaced both sticks and it booted right up.

Was it the NVRAM or was it the memory sticks (2X512MB sticks of SODIMM RAM)? Big difference.
