The doc feeder pulls multiple sheets through when it's gets down to the last 5 or so pages. I have replaced all of the rollers, the sep. pad assembly, and even changed out the whole doc feeder. The customer is running plain 8 1/2" X 11" paper through. Any solutions?

Did you change out with a known good ADF? If so, there are adjustments to be made in service mode, also mechanical like height adjustment etc.

Increase the resolution by one step to slow down the paper feed. The doc feeds on this series have multi-feed problems when the resolution is set to 200x200. This has worked for most of our C360s in the field.

Can you change resolution for photocopying? Didn't think you could.

No, you can't only for scanning/faxing documents.

put the sep roller pressure spring into the lowest setting - default is middle.

I am assuming you are running the correct, red feed and sep roller, not the older blue and gray as used in the c353 & c352 series, they are NOT interchangeable.

You could either a) Change the shaft and torque clutch on the Sep Assembly or b)use a fine sandpaper on the shaft where the torque clutch rotates/sits.

If this is slipping, thus supplying less of a friction force, multiple sheet feeds are more likely.

OR you could also add a little padding to the little plastic tabs on the pickup assembly so they sit up just a fraction higher.

All these have worked for me.

You have to remove sep roller and trim the mylar on the pre-sep pad. And also set the sep tension to the lowest level as EarthKmTech mentioned.
Hope this helps.
