Xerox 5665 code 09-340

I have a zerox 5665 with a code 09-340 , i\'m not familiar with xerox any help would be appreciated, i have also installed a new drum in this machane and the copies are almost black, is there a way to adjust the contrast ? thanks in advance !!

hello, while i\'m not very knowledgeable on this model, i can tell you that the code means copy cartridge (drum) not present or connector interlock failure. if you can find out whats going on there, you may also correct your black copies.

hey luther, try holding \"job interrupt\" and \"5\" while powering on. next, try entering \"8765\" which is the default access code. hopefully that will work. you won\'t see digits when entering. next hit \"stop\". if showing a status code, you may have to hit twice to enter diag screen.
