We have a c353 and tray 2 stopped recognizing paper size correctly tried swapping trays no go is there a way of manually putting in paper size?

There is paper size sensors at the back of each tray "Silver Leaf Springs" check them for damage.

Then try trouble reset.

You should replace or rebuild the FD size detection PWB:
