Why not replace and try?
- scanner motor
- scanner drive board
- printer control board?

I've heard that some techs read manuals, and sometimes find the information all by themselves. =^..^=

Unfortunately, the ability to test motors and solenoids has been omitted on most of the newer K products. But as a test, you can try turning the MFP on and watch for the scanner (scenner) to move. If it moves to the home position, and the lamp lights you can probably rule out the motor and lamp (capt obvious!!!). If it has the dual scan (701) you may want to look at 2nd side board, and ribbon cable. Also ensure you have the right DF selected in service mode. Emujo

I seem to recall hearing about this from a tech recently. There is a bulletin about this, but I'm afraid I CBF looking for it sorry.

In my case it was the PCRB... and not the scanner board! (PRCB are the last position to fix the error on the bulletin)

I slove this it is problem with:

1. scanner motor
2. scanner drive board

I had to replace both parts.
