I am trying to reload the firmware of a C6500 using the USB stick option. But it keeps failing to recognize my usb stick in SERVICE--ISW when i try to select the usb. I prepared the stick exactly as specified in the manual and i have switched the USB port ON in User Settings----System Settings----Port Settings. Any suggestion to proceed is appreciated.
I am trying to do a firmware reload because of a naughty problem: Jobs get muddled up and "forced" into half of the space on the paper with a very bad colour mis-registration whenever you select the 300gsm range on the print driver. If you chose a lower grammage even with the same 300gsm paper, it prints fine. This happens for all sizes...A4 or A3. The thing is that you risk a fuser jam by using a lower grammage setting. Anyone seen this problem before?
