So I have a client who has a C450 with a de-laminated pressure roller. I have found a few places that has lower pressure rollers for sale but figured I would ask, what is more reliable and better in terms of service life? OEM complete fusing unit for the outrageous price, or to rebuild just the lower roller with a compatible roller?

Machine has just shy of 480k total counter. I have already reset the fuser unit a few months ago.

Thanks

A new oem fuser out of the box is going to be more reliable hands down.

Do the new rollers come with a set of bearings ? These seem to be shot around the same time as the oem rollers.

I agree, bite the bullet & replace the complete OEM fuser, but first maybe check that the customer isn't planning on upgrading any time soon, that happens a lot at my company, I fit a full set of IU's & fuser etc, month later customer has upgraded to a new machine! ££££££££ down the drain!
