Good Afternoon,

I have a bizhub 751 that would not come out of the warming up phase on start up this morning. the machine has not produced an error code and I can access all functions via the control panel but it will not print, copy, or scan...the jobs just sit in the que. This machine has 190K on it and the drum was replaced on it last month by another tech. when I pulled the ADU tray I noticed toner all over the charge wire. Pulled the charge wire and cleaned. Both sensors under the charge wire were buried in toner...pulled sensors and cleaned. put everything back together and still won't come out of warming up state. Checked fuser for proper cycling...checked out ok...all 3 lamps lit and turned off...watched it thru 4 cycles. Checked toner bottle to be sure there was toner in it...half full. also checked all 4 motors to be sure they were turning freely and that none of the gears had been stripped off. I am having difficulty finding any reference to this issue in the manual...anybody seen this before? Thanks

three things come to mind when I see this
1. memory issue
2. hard drive issue
3. Temp sensors on the fuser.

Thanks for the reply...I hadn't considered the fuser sensors...I'll check that tomorrow when I go back. I'll try disabling the HD for testing purposes but will have to order memory to test that.

Thanks Scotty...I plan to pull drum and dev unit tomorrow...I also thought maybe the toner control board may be bad or needed cleaning.

Thanks for all the replies (you nailed it scotty), it was in fact dirty sensors. I ended up cleaning the entire section including both sensors and TCSB. Machine fired up as it is supposed to but I do have a quality issue with it now. Toner on both sides of the page...order new developer unit...hope that is it because it is quite expensive.
