black is copying light(looks under toned) colors ok; only being used as a copier. started when first replacement black toner cartridge was installed; any help as what to do to darken is appreciated.

Is the K toner OEM ?
I had plenty problems with its predecessor, the FS-C 2126. There were problems with the coupling on the toner drive links as well as on the dev drive links (the white round couplings seen from inside, left and right, after removing the toners and dev’s) these links often got stuck in the open position after the top lid was closed and as result no toner could be fed into the dev tank.
