Hi all,
anyone here knows if a brand new Ocè Imaging Unit can be fitted "as-is" in a konica minolta copier?
I have various C353, my distributor sells me one IU for € 326,00 + 22% tax + shipment
Found a user that is asking € 160 for 2 imaging units new boxed, so it is a big saving!!
That imaging units are branded Ocè but the product code is IU313, so i know for sure that fits into a C353, my only doubt is for the chip.
Thanks.

If Oce imaging unit fits 100% you can swap chip from old KM IU and instal PPLM Fw then after ready to go.

Or i'm thinking to put in a thirdy-part reset chip.

Definitely use a new chip. It will ensure the IU is set up properly. Then install the PPLM firmware.

Or set IU's to Non Stop but will notify replacement on mfp display.

Copier addict is right!!
Very wise advise.
New IU has a process of getting correct TCRatios and if you pull chip from used IU it will give incorrect TCR level readings from initial setup of the old IU on to the new IU. I hope this makes sense to you.
I tried to play smart once as we use three vendors and the only way to get things going was to use third party chip and then PPLM firmware.

I'm replying to myself for all of us: Ocè Imaging Unit fits well on a Konica Minolta C353. Chip is also recognized.
Works as original ones.
