    C0216 code on a C550 with a LU-301 LCT

    I have a C 0216 ( lct up/down abnormal) the lct doesn't even try to lift when reset. I fixed a bypass problem for my client but ran out of time for this. They have all the other drawers so "no rush" is what they said, but I don't like to leave things down. Is there any known problems with these and that code?

      lift motor

      they fail all the time. I carry them in the car.

          Thank you, I will check that today. Is the PN for the mtr 56AA80031?
          I can leave it with my parts Girl so she can order once I confirm the Mtr failure.

                  lift motors also fail in the tray 3 and 4 just as often.

                  It is quite unpleasant changing those. I lie down on the floor reaching into the machine to get at them.

                  Tray 1 & 2 very very rare to fail. Have only changed 1 the entire time ive worked on KM's
