I have a customer with a low volume c25. Shortly after changing the black toner cartridge it came up with the message "Caution. not installed i-unit. check k.
I have tried a new drum chip and cleaned and checked the connections with no sucess Has anyone had this? Attached is a pic of the message. Any help appreciated!

Check the contact springs on sensor. Have had bad Iu's.

We had a batch of bad after market chips that gives that massage. Got the good stuff and the problem was gone.

I'd start with a new genuine K image unit

Cant be that low volume if they have already used up the original chipless out of box imaging units.

Theres several issues relating to toner / iu detection on this model - but as your not using a genuine IU I shall go no further as that in itself is probably the issue.
